ETCB checked nearly 200 seasonal work providers over the summer

Checks carried out by the Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) during the summer months revealed that most employers continue to operate in an exemplary manner. However, one in five of the employers inspected had failed to register at least one employee.

According to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB), over €1.4 billion in tax revenue was collected for the state budget in June, which is €22 million less than a year earlier. Tax revenue decreased primarily due to lower receipts from personal income tax and VAT.
