Document register

Documents drawn up or received in the course of the activities of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board can be accessed through a common public document register of agencies within the area of government of the Ministry of Finance.

In the register, it is possible to consult electronic documents recorded at the Tax and Customs Board from 1 January 2002 to which no access restriction has been imposed or which are not published in Riigi Teataja (State Gazette).

The document register includes:

  • documents received and sent by the Tax and Customs Board (TCB), which have been entered in the register no later than on the working day following the day of arrival or sending;
  • legal acts drawn up and signed by the TCB entered in the register on the day of signature or on the following working day at the latest;
  • agreements entered in the register on the working day following their signature.

Public Information Act Register of confirmation documents
Documents containing personal data and registration data of documents with restricted access shall not be disclosed if they may give rise to the disclosure of information with restricted access.

For access to paper documents, documents with access restrictions or documents containing personal data that are not accessible through the document register please send us a request for information at the e-mail address emta@emta.ee.

The request for information allows access to the information contained in the document to the extent specified in the Public Information Act. In some cases, a document entry may be missing from the public register due to technical problems or delay time.

Documents related to holidays and foreign missions can be accessed through the register of confirmation documents on the state employee’s self-service portal.
