Request for information
You can submit a request for information to us if you want to receive a document that is already available at the Estonian Tax and Customs Board.
We will respond within five working days.
The deadline can be extended up to 15 working days, we will inform the submitter of the extension of the deadline within five working days.
Request for explanation
With a request for explanation, you can ask us for the Estonian Tax and Customs Board's opinions, interpretations, or practical information.
We will respond within 15 calendar days.
The deadline can be extended up to two months. We will inform the submitter of the extension of the deadline and reasons for it.
Memorandum
A memorandum is a request with which you can make proposals for organising the work of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board or shaping the development of the field.
We will respond within 15 calendar days.

Inquiry about the processing of your own data
You have the right to make inquiries about the processing of your personal data and to view the data we have collected about you.
We will respond within one month.

Submission of official requests
There are three ways to submit a request for information, a request for explanation or a memorandum:

If you request information that contains your or a third party's personal data, please sign the request digitally. - send a letter to the address: Estonian Tax and Customs Board, Lõõtsa 8a, 15176 Tallinn
For us to be able to respond to you, please add your contact details to the letter.
If answering your letter is not within the competence of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, we will forward it to the competent authority for a response and inform you of forwarding the letter.
