Structure and management

The structure of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) is divided into two main areas of activity: the area of taxes and customs, and the area of development. The areas of activity are managed by Deputy Directors General for Taxes, Customs and Development. The Investigation Department and supporting departments are directly subordinate to the Director General.

Data-based reporting is one of the areas of real-time economy, which is led at the national level by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications. The aim of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) is to offer economic operators the opportunity to fulfil their tax and reporting obligations with as little administrative burden and contact with the ETCB as possible.
