"The information on long queues is important especially for freight carriers who transport perishable goods. Unfortunately, the Russian customs has not officially informed us about the causes of the border problems, so we cannot predict the time of their resolution," said Ants Kutti, ETCB’s head of customs on external border. "As far as we know, the reason may be a technical failure in the border system of the Russian Federation."
- There are currently 198 trucks in the border crossing queue at Narva border crossing point and the border crossing is delayed by 45 hours;
- 256 trucks in the queue at Koidula border crossing point and the border crossing is delayed by 51 hours;
- 283 trucks in the queue at Luhamaa border crossing point and the border crossing is delayed by 50 hours.
