From Saturday or as of 15 February income tax returns shall be submitted to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB), the bureaus of ETCB shall start issuing precompleted income tax returns on paper as of 17 February.
The Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) reminds that October 1st is the deadline for the payment of land tax, and an update which enables taxpayers to order e-invoices for land tax payments is ready in the e-MTA.
The Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) will have a scheduled outage in its information systems in the evening of 30 August from 5 pm. The downtime is necessary for the e-Tax/e-Customs to implement a sleek modern design and convenient structure. We expect that you will be able to log onto the updated self-service system on 31 August and all e-services will once again be available by the evening of 1 September.
A new upgrade has been completed in the e-Tax/e-Customs which from now on enables to order an e-invoice for the payment of land tax. The first time this possibility can be used is the 1st of October, which is the due date for the payment of land tax.
From June 1st it is mandatory on the registration of employment to indicate the employee’s official title and the address of workplace. Without these data making new entries is impossible in future, and this also applies to changing or deleting entries.
We remind you that the interruption of the information systems of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) starts in the afternoon of May 3rd and all the services will be functional again by the evening of May 8th at the latest. During the outage, the work of x-road services linked to the e-Tax/e-Customs and the ETCB databases will be stopped, and similarly, you cannot make other queries in the ETCB information systems.
As of today, the fuel handling database (KKS) and the stock records and reporting system (LAAK) is open for users in e-Tax/e-Customs, where sellers of fuel and warehousekeepers have to reflect their transactions in real time.
