Scheduled maintenance of the information systems of Estonian Tax and Customs Board from 4 to 5 December 2020

Temporary interruption in all information systems of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) means that the services of the online services environment e-MTA and X-tee will be suspended, and at that time it is not possible to make queries to the information systems of the ETCB.

The interruption is planned for the period from 4 December at 22:00 until 5 December at 09:00. The customs application Complex will be affected from 21:00, 4 December (declarations can be inserted, but not confirmed) and the application will be closed at 22:00. The declarations of postal parcels and traveler's declarations cannot be submitted from 21:00, 4 December. Please take the service interruption into account.

The interruption is planned due to the upgrading of the infrastructure of the ETCB information systems.

  • Please submit your applications for the registration for VAT purposes or for deletion from the VAT register before or after the maintenance. Please plan your queries before or after the maintenance, it is not possible to make queries into the VAT register during the period of interruption.

  • Please file the applications for registration for use of the digital services' (MOSS) special scheme and for waiver of the special scheme before or after the maintenance.

  • Please file your returns before or after the maintenance.

    The declaration of a postal parcel can also be submitted by e-mail digitally signed at the address of the customs office where the declaration is to be accepted (eraisikusaadetis@emta.ee). The declaration must be accompanied by the documents that prove the value of the goods.

  • The receipts into the entrepreneur account are effective during the maintenance; the accounts of payments for the transactions made during the interruption period will be done after the maintenance.
