Beginning from 1 August 2018, containers in which fuel is possessed or stored shall be registered

Pursuant to subsection 193 (1) of the Liquid Fuel Act(RT I, 03.04.2018, 11), coming into force on 1 August 2018, the person who possesses a stationary container with the volume of 10 m3 or more, in which the fuel indicated in subsection 19 (1) of the Alcohol, Tobacco, Fuel and Electricity Excise Duty Act is possessed, stored or is intended to be possessed or stored, shall submit the following information to the Technical Surveillance Information System:

  1. the address of the land unit on which the container is located;
  2. the name and registry code or personal identification code of the owner or in the absence of the person identification code the date of birth;
  3. the number of the site plan of the container, if such exists;
  4. the volume of the container;
  5. a notation whether the container is located underground;
  6. a notation whether the underground container is with or without a floating lid;
  7. a notation whether the container is in use;
  8. the purpose of use of the container;
  9. if the owner of the container is not its possessor, then the name of the possessor together with the personal identification code or registry code.

If the data are altered, the owner of the container shall be obliged to submit new data.
