Scheduled maintenance of the information systems of Estonian Tax and Customs Board from 29 to 30 October 2021

The maintenance is planned from 29 October 2021 at 22:00 and all the services of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board will be available again on 30 October at 9:00 the latest.

From 29 October 21:00, declarations cannot be submitted in the customs systems Impulss and NES, as well as the applications for declaring postal parcels and traveler’s declarations; the customs system Complex will be in input mode (declarations can be inserted, but cannot be submitted). All services are shut down at 22:00. Please take the service interruption into account.

The interruption is planned due to the maintenace of the ETCB information systems. We apologise for the inconvenience.

  • Filing value added tax returns (Form KMD) and reports of intra-Community supply (Forms VD/VDP)

  • Please file your tax return before or after the maintenance.

  • Please submit your applications for the registration for VAT purposes or for deletion from the VAT register before or after the maintenance. Please plan your queries before or after the maintenance, it is not possible to make queries into the VAT register during the period of interruption.

  • Please file the applications for registration for use of the digital services' (MOSS) special scheme and for waiver of the special scheme before or after the maintenance.

Income and social tax, registration of employment

  • Please file your tax return before or after the maintenance.

  • Please plan your entries into the employment register before the maintenance and register the employees employed during the interruption after the maintenance.

Customs

  • Filing customs and transit declarations (Complex, Impulss, NCTS)

  • Registration and identification of economic operators engaged in international trade (EORI)

  • Notifications in the Import Control System (ICS)

  • Submission of entry summary declarations and declarations for temporary storage (NES)

  • During the maintenance, please submit your customs and transit declarations on paper.

  • Please send your notifications into the Import Control System by e-mail or on paper.
