Provision of advice on excise matters
Advice in issues relating to excise duties is provided by the experts of respective work areas and by the officials of the Excise Central Office.
Area experts are providing advice to customers on excise legislation, and in general matters concerning excise duties.

Main tasks of the Excise Central Office are coordination of the activities of excise warehouse keepers and registered consignees in Estonia, providing advice at the lodgement of excise declarations and checking of the lodged declarations, processing of the applications for excise duty exemption certificates, and processing of the applications for receiving the revenue
stamps for strong alcoholic beverages.
Officials of the Excise Central Office who are located in Tallinn are dealing with the administration of the authorisations for excise warehouses, registered consignees and other authorisations (except the excise duty exemption certificates) and are providing advice to customers irrespective of their place of business.
